June and half-year performance figures released for Colgan Air

Pinnacle Airlines Corporation has released capacity and operational results for its Colgan Air, subsidiary for June 2010 and the first half of the calendar year.

Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for June totalled 61,153,000, an increase of 4.2% from June 2009’s 58,680,000. Available seat miles (ASMs) increased by 2.1% to 95,329,000 from 93,383,000 last June.

The monthly load factor was up 1.3 percentage points to 64.1% fromlast June’s 62.8%. Passengers carried numbered 247,490, a slight decrease of 0.9% from the 249,619 carried in June 2009.

In 1H10, RPMs numbered 309,425,000 compared with 298,415,000 in 1H10, a 3.7% increase. ASMs howwever, were cut by 2.6% to 518,743,000 from 532,554,000.

These figures produced load factor increase of 3.6 pp to 59.6% in 1H10 from 56.0% in 1H09. Passengers carried decreased by 1.6% to 1,266,233 from 1,286,549 for the respective periods.
