JetBlue has begun operating a new daily service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), with the latter becoming the airline’s eighth destination in Florida.
“We launched our airline with its inaugural flight between JFK and Florida almost 16 years ago and we are so pleased that all these years later we continue to offer even more new routes between these two popular regions,” stated Scott Laurence, JetBlue’s SVP network planning. “Daytona Beach features so many exciting and sunny attractions that we knew it was time to offer travellers new flights and better value to this top destination.”
More than half a million passengers already pass through Daytona Beach International Airport annually, but this new service will mean a direct link between JetBlue's main base of operations in New York and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
The daily flights will take off from JFK at 10:29, landing in DAB at 13:13 before the return leg leaves DAB at 14:00 to arrive back at JFK for 16:21.
