JetBlue has added three new direct services to its route network from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) to Florida: Fort Myers (RSW), Jacksonville (JAX) and West Palm Beach (PBI).
Whilst the flights will all operate twice daily for the holiday season between 19 December and 4 January, only the service to Jacksonville will remain twice-daily year-round. The Fort Myers and West Palm Beach services will return to once daily flights after 4 January.
“Washington has been a major focus of investment and growth for JetBlue in recent years, and we are pleased to now fly our full schedule of 30 daily roundtrips,” stated Rob Land, SVP of government affairs and associate general counsel for JetBlue.
Other routes launched from Washington this year include services to Charleston, SC (CHS), Hartford, Conn. (BDL) and Nassau, Bahamas (NAS), whilst services to Tampa, Fla. (TPA), were boosted with a second daily flight.
