From 5 January 2015, JetBlue Airways will begin operating two daily nonstop services between San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS) with an Airbus A320.
Scott Laurence, JetBlue's VP of airline planning, claimed, "Our loyal San Francisco customers have long asked for a high-quality option to Las Vegas so we're delighted to make this addition to our route map."This is just one element of the airline’s expansion in Las Vegas.
From 29 October, JetBlue is also launching a direct daily service between Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport. The route will act as a new link to South Florida, as well as providing connections to JetBlue’s South American and Caribbean destinations.
Finally, JetBlue plans to debut its ‘Mint’ inflight product on flights between SFO and New York JFK on 26 October, another route which will increase in frequency from three roundtrips per day to five roundtrips per day in early 2015.
