JetBlue Airways has reported its preliminary traffic results for January 2011.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 2,214,550,000 compared with 2,106,420,000last January, a 5.1% increase. Available seat miles (ASMs) were cut by 2.6% to 2,767,970,000 from 2,843,217,000.
The resulting load factor increased by 5.9 percentage points to 80.0% from January 2010’s figure of 74.1%. During the month the airline carried 1,914,383 passengers, 8.3% more than the 1,767,867 carried a year prreviously.
