JetBlue Airways has reported its preliminary traffic results for February 2013.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 2,507,930,000 compared with 2,444,972,000, an increase of 2.6%. Available seat miles (ASMs) were increased by 1.3% to 3,044,046,000 compared with 3,004,060,000.
The load factor for the month was 82.4% which was 1.0 percentage point up on February 2012’s figure. The number of revenue passengers carried was 2,166,729, an increase of 2.1% over the 2,122,904 carried in 2012.
JetBlue’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) for the month of February decreased 3% year-over-year.
