airBaltic has unveiled an iPhone application (app) to increase convenience for the users of the mobile device when wanting to learn about airBaltic flights and services.
The airline’s chief commercial officer, Tero Taskila, explained, “Now iPhone and iPad users can keep track more conveniently of airBaltic’s 80 destinations in Europe, Middle East, Russia/CIS. The app also allows users to monitor real-time arrivals and departures of friends and family, and check the latest information about airBaltic in social media. This is the first version of the new application, and we will continue making improvements in the coming months. We would like to learn more about our customer needs, and iPhone users are invited to comment this new tool and make suggestions via airBaltic’s Facebook and Twitter pages.”
The new iPhone tool also enables users to check the flight status in real-time whilst travelling or when meeting friends or relatives. iPhone and iPad users can follow departure and arrival information, and flight disruptions. It also allows users to connect conveniently to the airBaltic Facebook site, follow airBaltic tweets and read the airBaltic blog, Wingtips.
The airBaltic iPhone app is available in nine languages – English, Latvian, Russian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, German – and can be downloaded at Apple’s iTunes site.
