The introductory fares for V Air’s new Taipei to Bangkok and Chiang Mai services has been set via an online campaign in which more than 200,000 people took part, lowering the price to 520 Taiwan Dollars (TWD) one way.
These fares will be on sale from 10am on 3 December until 23:59pm on 4 December (all Taipei time). The Bangkok–Taipei service begins on 17 December and the introductory rate will be available for flights between then and the end of May 2015 (subject to government approval).
The Taipei–Chiang Mai service will launch on 7 January 2015. Both new routes will be operated with Airbus A321s with 194 seats in an all economy configuration.
