Frontier Airlines is to extend its seasonal nonstop service between Kansas City and Cancún, offering for the first time summer nonstop service on the route.
Between 19 April and 2 May 2010, Frontier will operate two weekly flights on Saturday and Sunday. Then from 3 May, the carrier will operate one Saturday flight until 28 August. Frontier will then resume nonstop service on the route on 16 October.
“The response to our nonstop service to Cancún has been tremendous,” explained Daniel Shurz, VP of planning and strategy. “Extending our service over the summer now provides the Kansas City community with greater access to their favourite Mexican vacation destination. As the only carrier offering nonstop service between Kansas City and Cancún, we couldn’t be more pleased with the opportunity to extend the service through the popular summer travel season”
