Passengers flying to New York from Europe on Iceland Express’s new route this summer are being offered a free stopover night in Reykjavik.
The airline’s customers will be able to do some sightseeing of Iceland’s capital city and enjoy a free night’s accommodation before flying on to the Big Apple.
“Reykjavik has so much to offer visitors so we want to give our passengers the chance to explore the city and spend a night there at no extra cost,” explained Matthias Imsland, Iceland Express CEO. “Our route to New York is an extremely exciting step for us and is an opportunity for the UK market to enjoy a low-cost trip to New York. The stopover is an extra bonus, which will allow passengers to see Iceland for themselves and enjoy two dream destinations in one trip.”
Iceland Express’s new service, which connects Reykjavik with New York/Newark, will launch on 1 June 2010 and will operate four times a week.
The free stopover offer is available to all passengers who book a return flight between Europe and the United States, starting in either destination.
