Horizon Air has reported operational results for May 2010 including an increase in load factor.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) were up 0.4% at 200 million from 199 million in May 2009, while available seat miles (ASMs) were cut by 1.5% to 273 million from last May’s figure of 277 million.
The load factor thus increased by 1.4 percentage points to 73.1% from the 71.7% achieved in May 2009. The airline carried 554,000 revenue passengers in May 2010, a decrease of 0.1% compared with the same month last year.
