Horizon Air has reported its preliminary traffic figures for May which include maintaining a load factor above 80%.
The carrier had a 1.1% decrease in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) to 178 million from 180 million. Available seat miles (ASMs) were cut by 0.9% to 222 million from 224 million in May 2013.
This resulted in a 0.2 percentage point decrease in load factor to 80.2%. Revenue passengers carried totalled 607,000, up 2.0% from May 2013’s figure of 595,000.
