Horizon Air has reported its preliminary traffic figures for May 2001 including a 4.1 percentage point increase in load factor to a May record of 77.2%.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) were down by 12.5% at 175 million from 200 million, while available seat miles (ASMs) were cut by 17.2% to 226 million from 273 million.
The load factor thus rose by 4.1 pp to 77.2% from May 2010’s figure of 73.1%. Revenue passengers carried totalled 547,000, a decrease of 1.3% from the 554,000 carried last May.
