Horizon Air has reported its preliminary traffic figures for July 2014, which saw a rise in passenger numbers but a drop in the load factor.
Revenue passenger miles RPMs rose to 209 million from 202 million in July 2013, a 3.5% increase. Available seat miles ASMs were increased by 6.3% to 253 million from 238 million.
These figures meant that the load factor dropped by 2.3 percentage points to 82.6% from July 2013’s 84.9%. The airline did carry 6.6% more passengers though with 692,000 compared with 649,000 last July.
