Filippo Bagnato has once again been appointed chief executive officer of ATR, succeeding Stéphane Mayer, whose three-year mandate according to ATR’s statutes has expired.
The Assembly of Members of ATR has expressed their appreciation of Mayer’s contribution to the success of the ATR programme.
The popular Bagnato previously served as CEO of ATR between 2004 and 2007. During the last three years, while he was Finmeccanica executive vice-president technical, industrial and commercial development, he held the role of chairman of the ATR Board.
His reappointment, according to the company, “responds to the aim of ATR’s shareholders, Alenia Aeronautica and EADS, to ensure the continuity of the ATR programme management and its further growth, keeping up strong relationship with customers and privileged confidence from them”.
