Great Lakes traffic for May 2010 released

Great Lakes Aviation has announced its preliminary passenger traffic results for May 2010.

Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 12,410,000, an increase of 10.9% over last May’s 11,190,000. Available seat miles (ASMs) were cut by 8.3% to 31,616,000 from 34,483,000.

The load factor thus increased by 6.8 percentage points to 39.3% from Last May’s figure of 32.5%. Passengers carried rose by 2.7% to 41,822 from 40,724 for the respective periods.

Meanwhile, revenue per ASM (RASM) was also up, by 10.8%, to 31.70 cents from 28.62 cents in May 2009.
