Great Lakes Aviation’s January 2012 traffic data announced

Great Lakes Aviation has announced preliminary passenger traffic results for January 2012, including a load factor increase of more than 5 percentage points.

Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) during the month numbered 13,301,000, a 13.8% increase over last January’s figure of 11,688,000. Available seat miles (ASMs) totalled 31,914,000, compared with January 2011’s 32,362,000, a decrease of 1.4%.

The load factor this rose by 5.6 pp to 41.7% from 36.1%. During the month, the airline carried 41,018 passengers, 9.0% more than the 37,646 carried in January 2011.
