Great Lakes Aviation has announced preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of July 2011, including a 6.1 percentage point increase in load factor.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 14,876,000, compared with 13,917,000 in July 2010, a 6.9% increase. Available seat miles (ASMs) were cut by 6.7% to 31,184,000 from July 2010’s figure of 33,425,000
The load factor thus increased to 47.7% which was 6.1 pp up from last July’s 41.6%. Overall, the airline carried 48,590 passengers in July, which was 2.8% more than the 47,268 carried in the same month last year.
The airline revenue per ASM (RASM) in cents rose by 4.6% to 35.13 from 33.57 for the corresponding period in 2010
