Great Lakes Aviation has reported preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of February 2012.
During the month the airline generated 13,112,000 revenue passenger miles (RPMs), an increase of 18.1% over last February’s figure of 11,103,000. Available seat miles (ASMs) were incrase only by 6.1% to 29,928,000 from 28,217,000 in February 2011.
The load factor for the month was 43.8%, compared with 39.4% in the same month last year, an increase of 4.4 percentage points. The number of passengers carried rose by 12.2% to 40,295 from 35,910 last February.
Revenue per ASM (RASM) in US cents was up 1.0% year-on-year at 31.81 from 31.50.
