Great Lakes Aviation announces April 2010 traffic

Great Lakes Aviation has reported preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of April 2010.

Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) increased by 10.5% to 11,159,000 from April 2009’s figure of 10,100,000. Available seat miles (ASMs) were cut by 4.7% to 32,068,000 from last April’s 33,641,000.

The load factor thus rose – by 4.8 percentage points – to 34.8% from 30.0%. Passengers carried totalled 37,985, up from the 36,882 carried in April 2009, an increase of 3.0%.

The revenue per ASM (RASM) was 30.02 cents, up 8.4% from last April’s RASM of 27.69 cents.
