Great Lakes Aviation has reported its preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of September 2011.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 14,396,000, a 6.9% increase over last September’s figure of 13,466,000. Available seat miles (ASMs) were cut back by 6.5% to 31,278,000 from the 33,446,000 offered in September 2010.
The load factor consequently rose by 5.7 percentage points to 46.0% from 40.3% for the respective months. Passengers carried by the airline numbered 46,316, up by 3.2% on the 44,876 carried in September last year.
The revenue per ASM (RASM) increased by 5.7% to 33.27¢ from 31.49¢.
