Great Lakes announces January 2013 traffic

Great Lakes Aviation has announced preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of January 2013.

Revenue passenger miles totalled 10,755,000, down by 19.1% from January 2012’s figure of 13,301,000. Available seat miles were cut by only 0.4% to 31,784,000 from 31,914,000.

This resulted in a load factor decrease of 7.9 percentage points to 33.8% compared with 41.7% achieved last January. The airline carried 36,034 passengers in January 2013, compared with 41,018 carried in January 2012, a drop of 12.2%.
