Following a union representation election, the National Mediation Board has announced 83% of GoJet flight attendants who voted elected the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) as their collective bargaining representative.
“We are so proud to welcome our sisters and brothers at GoJet who chose to join with AFA flight attendants around the world. Flight attendants took ownership of their future and demanded a strong voice at work,” remarked AFA’s international president, Sara Nelson. “We look forward to the contributions GoJet flight attendants will bring to our union and continue AFA's 70-year-long tradition of flight attendants working together to raise the bar for our entire profession.
“GoJet flight attendants will now use the support and resources of AFA to negotiate a first contract with protections they deserve,” Nelson concluded.
