GoAir extends TCS contract for A320 family aircraft

Go Airlines (GoAir) has prematurely extended the component support contract for its present and future fleet of Airbus A320 and A320neo aircraft with Lufthansa Technik.The Total Component Support (TCS) agreement covers most of the spare parts required for the regular maintenance of GoAir’s A320 family aircraft until 2026. The carrier currently operates 19 A320s and two A320neos, but has a total of 144 of the latter type on order.Lufthansa Technik Services India (LTSI), which focuses on regional component services, will provide the spare parts to GoAir’s bases at Mumbai and Delhi. The company cooperates closely with Lufthansa Technik’s Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Materials Desk in Hamburg.Under the contract, GoAir will enjoy access to the full service spectrum of TCS on a 24/7 basis ranging from component pooling and material management to customer services as well as logistics and transport services.GoAir also has access to Lufthansa Technik’s Technical Operations WebSuite manage/m, giving both partners the possibility to observe inventory management.Zang Thio, Lufthansa Technik’s VP corporate sales for Southeast Asia and Australia, commented, “We are very proud that GoAir, one of the most successful airlines in the booming Indian aviation market, has decided to continue our trustful relationship.
