GoAir has announced the expansion of its business relationship with Lufthansa Technik – from the Total Engine Support TES contract signed in April 2014 covering 16 CFM56-5B engine overhaul events – to include an additional 18 engine overhaul events to accommodate to the growth of the carrier’s Airbus A320 fleet.
Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO of GoAir remarked, "The decision to extend the contract was fairly simple considering Lufthansa Technik's adaptability to GoAir's requirements and good partnership."
Lufthansa Technik provides a door to door service, supporting the airline's reliability target. The MRO company noted that its partnership philosophy, the service quality provided and its pro-active approach have been “the essential ingredients in forging this successful relationship”.
