ATR has re-appointed Giovanni Tramparulo as its chief financial officer, a role which he occupied between 2007 and 2010 before becoming the CEO’s sales finance special advisor from 2010 to 2014.
He started his career in the aeronautical industry in 1985 at the treasury department of Aeritalia in Naples with the responsibility of managing foreign currencies. In 1988, he moved to the headquarters of Alenia in Rome where he was responsible for export finance and special projects covering military and civil aircraft worldwide. Tramparulo has worked with ATR since 1992.
As CFO, Tramparulo will be in charge of controlling, accounting and treasury, sales financing, credit and risk management and internal control.
He is also a lecturer for corporate finance and aircraft sales financing for various MBAs organised by the French National Institute of Civil Aviation (ENAC) of Toulouse, and developed a Masters in Air Transport qualification with the Faculty of Aeronautics of the University of Rome for the benefit of engineers working in the aviation industry.
