Germanwings and All Nippon Airways (ANA) are to begin a new interline agreement following the start of ANA’s service to Düsseldorf from Tokyo.
The agreement will enable passengers arriving at Düsseldorf from almost all Germanwings destinations in Europe to have their luggage checked through to Japan.
In the opposite direction, passengers of ANA can check in their bags in Tokyo to any Germanwings destination to which they wish to travel via Düsseldorf.
Germanwings and ANA say they will work together to ensure that travellers from across European airports achieve maximum flexibility in their travel planning for trips to Asia.
