From 1 November, Germania will begin nonstop twice-weekly flights from Düsseldorf to Marrakesh in Morocco.
Until 28 April 2017, the Berlin-based airline will be taking off on Tuesdays and Fridays to Marrakesh, which was designated a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1985.
Karsten Balke, Germania’s chief executive officer (CEO), commented, “We are delighted to expand our range of exciting destinations from Düsseldorf with our new flights to Marrakesh. With our new non-stop connections, the 'Red City‘ can be comfortably reached in less than four hours.“
The outbound flights depart from Düsseldorf at 14:15 and touchdown in Marrakesh at 17:05, with the return flight leaving Marrakesh at 18:05 and touching down in Düsseldorf at 22:45 (all times local).
