Germania adds summer routes from Berlin-Tegel

Germania is preparing for the summer season with the addition of new routes from Berlin-Tegel.

From June, the airline will serve the Greek island of Samos every Friday, and for the first time the airline is to offer a flight connection to the Armenian capital, Yerevan, with flights departing every Saturday from June.

The airline has also scheduled increases on routes for the coming winter, adding to its Canaries programme with a weekly flight to La Palma every Tuesday, and will double the number of flights to the Isle of Flowers – Madeira, with flights departing on Mondays and Fridays.

From May Germania will be operating 35 times a week from Berlin-Tegel Airport where the airline has three A319 aircraft permanently stationed, with two other Boeing-type aircraft at its Schönefeld location.

“Germania is positioning itself in Berlin as a quality airline, where passengers can expect a relaxed flight with full service,” said Claus Altenburg, director sales at Germania, “We are delighted to be in the capital with an increased programme for both the beginning of summer now and the coming winter. Berlin is a high priority for us.”
