GECAS to lease three new 737-800s to Air India Express

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has signed a contract to lease three new Boeing 737-800s to new customer Air India Express.Deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled for 2016 and are part of GECAS’s existing order book with Boeing.Air India Express, the low-fare subsidiary of Air India, currently operates a fleet of 17 aircraft to some 30 destinations.
