Frontier Airlines has celebrated the launch of a new six times weekly nonstop service between its Denver hub (DEN) and Des Moines International Airport (DSM).
“We are so pleased to expand our service out of Des Moines to include this nonstop service to Denver,” remarked Daniel Shurz, the airline’s vice-president of strategy and planning. “With three daily nonstop flights to Milwaukee and the new nonstop service to Denver, Des Moines-area travellers can now look forward to even more convenient and affordable access to the east and west with connections to Frontier’s more than 70 destinations across the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica.”
Frontier’s new Des Moines service is being flown by the 99-seat Embraer 190s, each of which will be outfitted with inflight internet by early 2011.
