Frontier Airlines will open its first East Coast flight attendant crew base in June 2014, at the Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing, NJ.
The new crew domicile will initially be home to 50 flight attendants by the end of July, with the potential to grow to support Frontier’s expanding operations from Trenton-Mercer Airport. By June 2014, Frontier will operate service to 17 nonstop cities from the airport.
“Frontier’s service from Trenton-Mercer Airport has grown quickly since its start in November 2012, and the new crew base demonstrates our long-term commitment to the community and our successful operation from Trenton-Mercer Airport,” explained Scott Gould, vice-president of flight operations for Frontier. “The quick growth reflects the increasing demand for ultra-low fares and consumer choices in the region, and our flight attendants will be proud to call Mercer County home.”
The crew base will serve as an office on the ground for Frontier’s flight attendants and joins Frontier’s existing crew bases in Chicago and Denver.
