Travelport has announced a new multi-year, full content agreement with Frontier Airlines that makes all of the carrier’s fares and seat inventory available to Travelport-connected travel agents globally.
Frontier will also subscribe to Travelport’s merchandising products, enabling the distribution of its Branded Fares and all ancillary options, including STRETCH seating, through Travelport-connected agents.
Travelport will integrate these merchandising capabilities into the Travelport Universal Desktop, making it easier for Travelport-connected travel agents around the world to transact this premium coach seat capability within their standard workflow.
“This agreement provides Frontier with a cost-effective solution to distribute our unique customer experience and future ancillary options through Travelport subscribers in a flexible, innovative manner,” explained Daniel Shurz, vice-president of strategy and planning for Frontier Airlines. “Frontier is focused on seeking enhanced distribution solutions and effective partners like Travelport that can provide benefit for Frontier and most importantly, our customers.”
