Frontier Airlines is to expand its service at Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN) with the addition of nonstop service to both Cincinnati, OH, and Charlotte, NC, beginning on 12 February 2014.
Frontier highlighted its position as the only airline providing scheduled service out of Trenton-Mercer Airport, the gateway to New Jersey’s state capital, all of central New Jersey, and Southeast Pennsylvania, including metro Philadelphia.
The addition of these two cities brings Frontier’s total nonstop destinations served from Trenton to 11: Atlanta; Charlotte; Chicago-Midway; Cincinnati; Columbus; Detroit; Fort Lauderdale; Fort Myers; Orlando; Raleigh-Durham; and Tampa.
“This is a great day for consumers as we bring two new low-fare options to the Trenton/Princeton area, providing a time and money saving option to even more customers throughout the region,” declared Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice-president, commercial. “Customers who fly from Trenton-Mercer Airport can enjoy a newly upgraded airport with fewer hassles and convenient parking compared with other airports in the region.”
Flights from Trenton to Charlotte will depart at 17:35 and land at 19:10 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. In the opposite direction, and on the same days of the week, takeoff from Charlotte is at 19:50 and get back to Trenton at 21:30 p.m. All times are local and flights will use Airbus A319 aircraft.
Flights from Trenton to Cincinnati will leave at 14:10 and land at 16:05 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. In the opposite direction, and on the same days of the week, takeoff from Cincinnati is at 16:45 and land back to Trenton at 18:25 p.m. All times are local and, again, flights will use Airbus A319 aircraft.
