Wizz Air has announced that it plans to begin services to Dubai’s brand new World Central Airport (JXB) from Budapest (Hungary), Bucharest (Romania), Kiev (Ukraine) and Sofia (Bulgaria) starting from 28 October 2013.Wizz Air will be a launch customer for Dubai World Central when the passenger terminal opens in October for scheduled passenger flights. The airport is planned to become the city’s main hub by the mid 2020s, when with five runways and a capacity for 160 million yearly passengers it will be the largest airport infrastructure in the world. Flights on Wizz Air’s new Dubai routes are already on sale.Services to Dubai from Budapest and Kiev each begin on 28 October and will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights from Bucharest and Sofia start on 29 October and will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
