Radixx International has had its contract with flydubai renewed, with the new agreement includes a licence for the airline to access and modify the Radixx Air source code.
“Radixx offers us the ability to fully customise. They cater to all business models, which provides greater autonomy for an airline such as flydubai,” noted Ghaith Al Ghaith, flydubai CEO. “Our ability to both differentiate and tailor our growth strategies would be limited without control of our own software. With Radixx, not only do we have the ability to manage the software systems, but it’s backed by reliable customer service.”
Ramesh Venkat, flydubai’s CIO, believes the planned architecture will allow the best of breed systems to be integrated with the Radixx platform, easily scalable both in terms of functionality and volumes, resulting in enhanced customer experience and significant cost efficiencies.
According to Ron Peri, Radixx International’s CEO, “We’re very pleased to continue working with flydubai as they continue to expand domestically and internationally. It is a very forward thinking and innovative airline, extremely well positioned for heightened success.
“flydubai is on the leading edge of the movement for airlines to take control of their own destinies by eliminating the constraint of ‘one size fits all’ software solutions,” Peri continued. “We likewise believe this is the wave of the future – airlines differentiating themselves by gaining control of their core software so the business can be as nimble and flexible as they desire.”
