flydubai has announced the addition of Riyadh and Jeddah to its network, taking the number of Saudi Arabia destinations from three to five.
Flights to Riyadh and Jeddah will begin on 1 May, with daily flights to the capital and a four times a week service to Jeddah supplementing the airline’s existing Saudi routes to Abha, Gassim and Yanbu.
flydubai CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, remarked, "I am delighted to be able to announce the start of flydubai’s service to Jeddah and Riyadh on 1 May. These cities are of prime importance in this region and we are honoured to have the opportunity to serve the Saudi people in Riyadh and Jeddah."
Flights to Jeddah will depart Dubai Terminal 2 on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 05:20, arriving in Jeddah at 07:15 local time. The return flight will depart Jeddah at 08:15, landing back in Dubai at 12:05.
Flights to Riyadh on Mondays and Fridays will leave Dubai at 19:45, landing in Riyadh at 20:35 local time. The return flight will take off at 21:20, reaching Dubai at 00:15. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays flights will take off from Dubai at 07:55, touching down in Riyadh at 08:45 local time. The return flight will take off at 09:30, arriving in Dubai at 12:20. Finally, on Wednesdays, the service will leave Dubai at 15:55 and get to Riyadh at 16:45 local time. The return flight will take off at 17:30, arriving in Dubai at 20:20.
