For the first time, Flybe is now employing CTC Wings “whitetail” graduates – pilots who have completed airline pilot training through CTC Aviation’s CTC Wings Integrated ATPL Route and who are then put forward for airline placement towards the end of their training,
CTC Aviation facilitates opportunities with a number of partner airlines, but this is the first time such an opportunity has been made available to join Flybe. The first group of these “whitetail” pilots to be selected by Flybe will be ready for operational flying on the airline’s Bombardier Q400 fleet by Spring 2015.
Flybe and CTC Aviation have worked together since 2012 when the two companies launched the first CTC WINGS ATPL Route, with applicants being jointly selected by CTC Aviation and Flybe before training started. As part of this programme Flybe offers partial sponsorship towards completion of the course with CTC Aviation.
