Flybe redesigns onboard menu

Café Flybe, a new onboard menu offering Flybe passengers the choice from over 100 products, will include a trio of new regional products each month.
Throughout May Flybe’s new regional products are Portlebay popcorn from Devon, a sandwich filled with roast silverside of beef and Devon blue cheese, and Tribute ale from Cornwall.
Café Flybe now offers early business travellers a selection of fresh pastries and an expanded offering of hot drinks, including ten different kinds of tea from Twinings and coffee from Kenco. The ‘Sandwich of the Month’ made freshly every day is to keep frequent fliers from becoming bored, with those looking for something a little different able to order anything from a Ploughman’s Lunch complete with traditional pork pie toauthentic Spanish tapas.
Amy Valcik, Flybe’s chief marketing officer, remarked, “Flybe has made its reputation by providing greater choices for our passengers and our new on-board menu reflects that, providing a product range unmatched by our competitors. Café Flybe not only provides more recognisable brands, more choice and better quality to our passengers travelling on our flights but we are thrilled to also put the spotlight on regional products in support of local economies.
