Flybe has introduced its first-ever intra-European flights with two new daily routes from Hannover to both Lyon and Milan.
The carrier’s Hannover–Lyon service will take off from the former at 10:45 and land in the latter at 12:50 before returning from Lyon at 13:25 to reach Hannover for 15:35.
Flybe’s Hannover–Milan flights will take off from the former at 16:10 and land in the latter at 18:10 before returning from Milan at 18:50 to reach Hannover for 20:55.
Vincent Hodder, Flybe’s chief revenue officer, commented, “This is a proud milestone for Flybe and we are delighted to be here today. Flybe’s debut into this new marketplace marks the beginning of our ambition to provide mainland Europeans with the same high level of regional connectivity and choice of high-frequency time-saving travel as we currently provide throughout the UK.”
“The decision of Flybe to expand its offerings at Hannover Airport for us is a great signal to the market,” added Hannover Airport’s CEO, Raoul Hille. “Flybe has already been a reliable and successfully growing partner at Hannover Airport.”
Flybe has been operating into Hannover from the UK for nearly 10 years as well as from Manchester and Birmingham. The carrier’s new routes from Hannover will mean this summer the airline is flying up to 15 routes per day out of Germany and 155 flights a week.
