“Doncaster Sheffield airport is proving itself as the very best, most convenient airport for Sheffield business travellers,” stated Vincent Hodder, Flybe’s chief revenue officer. “We have been pleased to see increasing numbers of customers using our services. Over the last twelve months we have continued to grow and develop the routes we are offering to provide the most cost-effective, efficient and flexible service we can.”
Steve Gill, CEO of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, added, “We are delighted that Flybe will be strengthening its relationship with Doncaster Sheffield Airport as it extends the Dublin and Dusseldorf routes, which take off for winter next month (30 October 2016), into our summer programme.
“Flybe has been a very welcome addition to the airport and we’ve had a record breaking summer thanks to the additional routes it has introduced coupled with the added convenience of the Great Yorkshire Way, the new motorway link road from Junction 3 of the M18, improving access to the airport,” Gill concluded.
The schedule is available for travel between 26 March and 13 August 2017 and will see an additional 35,000 seats on sale in comparison to summer 2016.
