Flybe building service at Exeter and Norwich

Flybe is to operate new year-round routes from Exeter and Norwich airports, part of the Regional & City Airports (RCA) group.With effect from 24 March 2016, the airline’s 118-seat Embraer 195 aircraft will operate multi-weekly flights from Exeter and Norwich to Alicante and Malaga, and from Exeter to Faro and Palma Mallorca.In addition, with effect from its Winter 2016 programme, Flybe will also boost frequency to Geneva from Exeter and introduce Geneva as a new route from Norwich.Flybe CEO Saad Hammad commented, "We are delighted to have reached this agreement with the Rigby Group which owns Exeter and Norwich Airports for the productive utilisation of another of our modern Embraer jets.“We are very pleased that, as a result of our partnership, we will be able to better serve our customers at Exeter and Norwich,” he continued. “There continues to be strong demand for our sun routes as a year-round product and, as an added benefit, we look forward to now extending this offering to the East Anglian market with great value fares on these very popular services.”Sir Peter Rigby, chairman and founder of RCA owners Rigby Group, added, “This milestone agreement is a concrete result and guarantees the continued operation of year-round winter and summer holiday routes from Exeter and Norwich.
