Flybe and Amadeus enter distribution deal

Flybe has become the 73rd carrier to implement Amadeus’ Airline Ancillary Services solution, allowing passengers booking through travel agents to add chargeable bags through the Amadeus distribution channel.
“We are pleased to support Flybe’s merchandising strategy by increasing the exposure and sales opportunities of the airline’s ancillary services through the world's largest and most diverse travel community. Flybe now has the tools to maximise sales in our distribution channel and partner with travel agents by offering services that add value to the traveller’s journey,” commented Gianni Pisanello, strategic marketing director of airline distribution at Amadeus.
