Flybe has announced a new route between Belfast City Airport and Manston, operating three times a week from 26 May.
Flybe’s service between Manston and Edinburgh is set to continue, but the carrier is to end its service to Manchester from 4 April, explaining that passenger numbers made the flight economically and environmentally hard to justify.
Flybe emphasised that it remains committed to developing its route network from Manston and is continuing to work with the airport to bring travel choice to the people of Kent and the south east of England.
From Belfast to Manston, flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays will depart Belfast City at 11:40 and arrive in Manston at 13:20. Sunday services depart Belfast City at 10:45, landing at Manston at 12:25.
In the opposite direction, from Manston to Belfast, Tuesday and Thursday flights will take off from Manston at 13:45 and arrive in Belfast at 15:25, while on Sundays, flights will leave Manston at 12:50 and arrive in Belfast at 14:30.
