Flybe adds Dublin–Doncaster Sheffield route

From 30 October 2016, Flybe will begin six-times weekly flights between Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) and Dublin (DUB).On Mondays, Thursdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the DSA–DUB leg will take off and land at 06:50 and 07:55 respectively, before departing from Dublin at 09:00 to arrive back in Doncaster at 10:00.On Saturdays flights will leave DSA at 18:00 to reach DUB at 19:05 before the return leg takes off from DUB at 19:35 to reach DSA at 20:35. On Sundays, the DSA–DUB service will take off and land at 18:45 and 19:50 respectively, while the DUB–DSA leg will take off and land at 20:30 and 21:30 respectively. Flybe’s chief revenue officer, Vincent Hodder, averred, “We are really pleased that we can offer Yorkshire travellers a continuing service between Doncaster Sheffield and Dublin, one of Ireland’s most vibrant and cultural cities. We have timed flights to maximise convenience. The early weekday flights mean that business travellers can make the most of having a full working day, and there is more opportunity for travellers wanting to travel onwards to the US and Canada.”Steve Gill, chief executive of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, added, “We are delighted to announce this new route with Flybe. It further strengthens our relationship with the airline. It’s been heartening to see the growth and diversity in the routes offered by Flybe since their launch earlier this year. Dusseldorf, Chambery and now Dublin have been added to the original schedule.”
