Kazakhstan’s LCC FlyArystan has confirmed its plans to open a second base of operations. To be located at Karaganda, the airline intends to place an A320 there next year in early 2020. A second A320 will follow as the airline increase its operations from the new site. This will be the first regional base outside the HQ at Almaty. With two A320 aircraft on site, the airline intends to fly ten-12 destinations across both international and domestic routes from the city. Karaganda is the fourth largest city in Kazakhstan.

This announcement represents a significant step for the central Asia carrier. FlyArystan receives backing from its parent airline, Air Astana, which owns the LCC and passed the carrier two of its A320s.
