JetBlue Airways has reported its preliminary traffic results for February 2010.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in February increased by 2.7% to 1,911,455,000 from February 2009’s 1,862,049,000. With available seat miles for the respective months also increasing by 2.7% – to 2,564,764,000 from 2,497,800,000 – the load factor remained constant at 74.5%.
The total number of revenue passengers carried in February was 1,644,621, just 0.1% up on February 2009’s figure of 1,643,197.
JetBlue says its preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile (RASM) for February increased between one and three percent year-over-year.
