fastjet has begun its daily flights from Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Kenya.
“Today’s flights are an important milestone in fastjet’s development and mark a significant achievement for the company. We have been working towards the launch of these routes for some time and are excited to be bringing our proven low-cost model to a new destination,” declared Ed Winter, fastjet’s CEO. “As has been the case when we have previously launched new routes, we expect to stimulate the market as passengers embrace our great value, safety and reliability. Until now, flights between these destinations have been prohibitively expensive for a great number of people; we look forward to bringing the benefits of low-cost air travel to them.”
