Aer Lingus is exercising options to add two Airbus A330-300s to its existing fleet of eight A330 family aircraft.
With the carrier’s A330 fleet due to increase to 10 aircraft by the end of 2016, this latest decision will eventually grow Aer Lingus’ total number of A330s to 12 aircraft.
“This further commitment by Aer Lingus to the A330 demonstrates the unmatched operating economics and operational versatility of this aircraft,” stated John Leahy, Airbus’ COO customers. “We are delighted to be continuing our long-standing partnership with Aer Lingus.”
