ExpressJet Holdings, parent company of regional and charter airline operator, ExpressJet Airlines, has reported traffic and capacity results for August 2010.
In its airline partner work, ExpressJet’s revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 878 million, 19.1% more than the 737 million reported last August. Available seat miles (ASMs) were increased by 17.7% to 1,088 million from 924 million.
The load factor thus rose slight – by 0.9 percentage points – to 80.7% from 79.8% last August. The airline flew 68,581 block hours in August, 16.9% more than the 58,644 hours flown a year ago.
ExpressJet ended August 2010 with a fleet of 244 aircraft consisting of 206 operating as Continental Express, 32 flying as United Express and six flying within the Corporate Aviation (charter) division.
